Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect in a counseling session?

The First Visit

Patient Forms

As you enter the office we will begin to discuss the nature of Nutritional Response Testing (NRT) and how it can benefit a client individually regarding their present state of health.  Then we collect a comprehensive health history through client forms (available in our office or on-line at

By reviewing the intake forms we will have a better understanding your health history and goals. At this time we will also address any questions or concerns you may have.  From there we can best determine the appropriate course of action and treatment options.

After the consultation, we will utilize the NRT to find any weak areas with nutritional deficiencies and determine possible supplementation needed to support them.  The actual procedure is completely non-invasive and simple as well as direct with the body providing all the information and feedback.

Report of Findings

Once we collect the information, and finish our assessment of your nutritional needs, we generate a detailed Report of Findings. This report outlines the body’s priorities with its specific needs and a course of action is recommended to bring the body back to optimal health utilizing a personalized supplemental protocol.

Where do we go from the initial visit?

Follow-up visits will be scheduled accordingly to include the three phases in the Nutrition Response Testing Program as outlined below.

Phase I - Fine Tuning Your Program

Once you start on your initial nutritional supplement program, it generally takes approximately twelve visits to address all core issues. These visits are completed in weekly intervals.

Phase II – Complete Cleansing and Detox Period

After your initial “Fine Tuning” period is completed, you be ready to start on your next step. This is a “ Healing and Observation Period” which also occurs at weekly intervals and lasts between 3-4 weeks.

Phase III – Maintenance Phase

This period is marked by supportive care to keep things improving at a normal rate after achieving a more optimal health level. To most easily accomplish that appointments are made on an individual basis anywhere from monthly to quarterly over the next few years.

What benefits can I expect working with a Nutritionist?

A number of benefits are available from participating with NRT and knowing that someone understands and is committed to working directly with you in restoring optimal health. Nutritional counseling can provide a fresh perspective on a difficult problem and point you in the direction of a solution. The benefits you obtain depend on how well you use the process and put into practice what you learn in order to reverse illness or non-optimal health to a life of vitality and longevity.

What kind of payment does Marpé Nutrition accept?

Payments can be made via cash, check, and all debit/credit cards.  Fees for services are collected at date of service or a pre-pay option is also available.

What’s so special about your supplements?

We use a variety of supplements including Standard Process, MediHerb and Systemic Formulas. They are the best "organ specific groceries" your money can buy. The supplements used are often just as important as the dietary changes and they speed recovery in areas where basic diet may take a long time to heal or never heal.
